Garage Door Painting in Sheffield.

A faded garage door pulls down the look of an entire frontage. Repainting one is a quick win: usually a one- to two-day job, costs a fraction of a new door, and lasts years.

We sand back any flaking paint and rust spots, prime metal panels with a rust-inhibitor, fill any dents, then two coats of exterior-grade metal or wood paint depending on the door material. Up-and-over, sectional, roller, wooden side-hinged, all viable.

Colour choice is yours. Cars in the colour card range, RAL numbers, Farrow and Ball exterior eggshell, all options. We can match the front door for a coordinated frontage.

What is included

  • Sand and prep flaking paint or rust
  • Rust-inhibitor primer on metal panels
  • Two coats of exterior-grade topcoat
  • Hinges and tracks cleaned and oiled while we are there
  • One- to two-day turnaround on most doors

Common Questions

Garage Doors questions

The questions Richard gets asked most often at the kitchen door. If yours is not here, ring him.

How long does a garage door repaint last?
Properly prepped and painted, a metal garage door will hold its finish for 5 to 8 years in Sheffield weather. Wooden doors last 4 to 6 years between repaints.
Can you match the colour to my front door?
Yes. Bring us the colour card or the paint code from the front door and we will match it. If the front door has no record we can colour-match from a small swatch.
