Interior Painting in Sheffield.
Interior painting is most of what we do. Living rooms, hallways, stairwells, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms across Sheffield. We turn up when we said we would, sheet up properly, and leave the place cleaner than we found it.
Most rooms take one to two days depending on size, ceiling height and how much prep the walls need. We will tell you up front if a room needs extra filling, a mist coat on new plaster, or stain blocker on smoker yellow.
Paint choices are yours. We default to Dulux Trade for most jobs and reach for Farrow and Ball, Little Greene or Mylands when the colour or finish needs it. Bring a colour card or let us suggest a palette. We are not precious about brand, we just want the finish to look right and last.
Sheffield's housing stock is older than most. A lot of what we paint is Victorian or Edwardian: original cornicing, picture rails, deep skirting, sometimes wonky walls. That gets a different kind of attention than a 1990s magnolia box.

Common Questions
Interior Painting questions
The questions Richard gets asked most often at the kitchen door. If yours is not here, ring him.
- How long does a typical Sheffield bedroom take to paint?
- A standard 4 by 4 metre bedroom takes one day for walls and ceiling, plus a second day if woodwork is included. Larger rooms or higher Victorian ceilings can run to two or three days.
- Do I need to move my furniture?
- We can move smaller pieces ourselves and sheet them down. For larger items, wardrobes, beds, sofas, we will let you know in advance so they can be moved before we arrive. It saves time and keeps the cost down.
